SUGGESTED ADDITIONS
This is standard on any cushion and very much recommended. Dacron rounds out the edges and fills in the fabric cover for a more aesthetic look. It also helps the foam to slide into a fabric cover. Normally foam will not slide on fabric, and stuffing cushions into a cover can be a tug-a-war. Standard cushions are wrapped using a "book wrap" technique. It is called this because the Dacron covers the foam in the same way a dust jacket covers a hard bound book. Only three sides of a cushion are covered. (See the picture). Add a layer to your mattress to create a quilted affect. When measuring for cushions, it is not necessary to subtract or add any allowances for Dacron; it is strictly a filler.
